Fixing Mistakes in Colored Pencil

Fixing Mistakes in Colored pencil Drawings

A One-Day Workshop with Amy Lindenberger, CPSA
Saturday, April 9, 10 4:30

The Main Street Lesson Center

North Canton OH 44720

Colored pencil is a forgiving medium, but accidents and missteps unintentional impressed lines, stray marks and smears, too much color to permit further color layering, damage to the paper surface, spilled drinks or food, etc. can still produce unwanted results that can be a challenge to correct, and, if they occur when a drawing is nearly finished, be devastating to the artist. In this class I will demonstrate ways to correct common problems and also invite students to bring samples of their own for discussion and demo.

This is part of an ongoing series of workshops I began offering in 2010, designed to help students consider all of the things that go into making art.

The workshop will be held Saturday, April 9, from 10 4:30 (Students should bring a sack lunch, or plan to purchase a quick lunch someplace nearby.)

The cost of the workshop is $90. To register, return the form with a minimum $45.00 deposit (balance of $45.00 to be paid the day of the workshop). Seating is limited to 15 students so sign up early! Return registration and check (sorry, no credit cards) made payable to Amy Lindenberger, to 5729 Glyn Dr. NW, North Canton, OH  44720. A supply list and further information will be furnished upon registration. If you have questions, I can be reached via email at or by phone at 330-309-7353.
